Tactical Base provides tactical guidance to dozens of professional footballers worldwide, ranging from lower leagues to those active in the Champions League. Most of our services are online, but we’re also hired to clubs. Additionally, we train analysts and conduct masterclasses for scouts and coaches. This leads to greater job security and opportunities in the football world.

Koen Bloks is the owner and founder of Tactical Base in 2020.
I began my football career as a team analyst for PSV’s first team after a Twitter message from Mark van Bommel. I enjoyed this adventure a lot. However, when Mark was dismissed, I was also let go. One moment you have qualities, and the next, you’re no longer needed.

I was therefore grateful for the second chance I received. I was able to start working at Willem II. However, just like during my time at PSV, I was convinced of the importance of working with individuals. Clubs invest too little energy in achieving the maximum impact of a player.

And that’s why I began developing an individual methodology that had to be good enough to make even Lionel Messi and Virgil van Dijk better players. It worked. The methodology is now used by Champions League players, and I am even hired by football clubs. How cool is that!?
